Pesky Power cuts irks Budgam's Narkara residents

Srinagar , April 17 (KNS): Residents of Narkara village of Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Thursday accused  authorities for failing to provide them with uninterrupted power supply.


Residents of village told Kashmir News Service (KNS) while expressing displeasure accused Power Development Department (PDD) for failing to provide them with electricity. 

They said that they are not getting the electricity as per schedule despite paying their regular tariff bills.

They also said that they are hardly getting a few hours of electricity and added that the department is sending them hiked up electricity bills.

Arshid Nazir, a local said that they are facing immense hardships as they are not getting electricity as per schedule.

He also said that the education of the children from the area is also impacted due the pisky power cuts.

Another local Sahil Majeed said that the area has a huge population but is neglected by the authorities as the area remains without electricity most of the time. 

People of the area urged authorities to provide them with electricity as per schedule so that they will not face these inconveniences.(KNS)
