Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS): Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a person planning an attack on government forces in south Kashmir.
According to the statement issued to KNS, Police spokesman said that “Police Post Frisal, Kulgam, based on reliable information that the members of HM and LeT, have planned to carry out attacks on security personnel to snatch weapon, arrested one of the accused identified as Roshan Zameer Bhat, son of Mohammad Amin, resident of Nowpora Frisal.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
“In this regard a case FIR number 23/2018 was registered in Police Station Yaripora and investigation was set into motion,” police spokesman said.
“During initial investigation, the accused person disclosed that he has kept the illegally acquired explosive material at his residence. During search, 01 Chinese Grenade was recovered. Further investigation is going on,” he added. (KNS)
