Srinagar,01 June (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference on Tuesday has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed, who was admitted at Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Science (ASCOMS) Jammu and passed away on Tuesday morning. 

In a condolence message, the PC spokesman has termed the scholar’s demise as a major loss for society, stating that his passing away has left a void in the scholarly community that will be extremely difficult to fill in. The spokesman said that Mufti Sahab's greatest contribution that will be remembered for times to come is his literary rich translation of the Holy Quran into the Gojri language. His others work like Ahkaam-e- Mayyat, 'Siraj-um-Muneera' and 'Namaz Kae Masayil Quran-o-Hadees Ki Roshni Mei' will act as a guiding light for the scholars of the Islamic world to prosper and progress in their quest for knowledge and wisdom. 

Party has prayed to Allah to grant the deceased the highest place in Jannah and patience to the bereaved family to bear this loss.(KNS)
