Srinagar, Dec 12 (KNS): Castigating the behavior of senior member of State Commission for Consumers Court as ‘deplorable’, the consumers here demand immediate action against her.
A delegation comprising of locals alleged that the senior member of the cell, Shabnam Munshi is not punctual as she always remains absent till 12 noon thereby giving tough time to the people who visit the office from hearing of their cases.
“She is lethargic towards her work as she hardly bother to come to office before 12 noon while the authorities are in deep slumber as no action is being taken against her,” Muzaffar Ahmad Rather, who is practicing lawyer at district court and state commission and consumer court said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“I have personally approached several officials including Minister fro Law Basharat Bukhari, Bar Association head and other higher officials in this regard but so far nothing has been done,” he said.
He said that whosoever asked her about her behavior, she usually reply that she is answerable to them.
While demanding immediate action against her, Muzaffar said that such public servants who are forcing the local people towards hardships should be dealt with strictly.
They further appealed higher ups to look into the matter and redress the problem at earliest. (KNS)
