Srinagar November 27 (KNS): Senior Congress leader Surinder Singh Channi on Thursday has raised concern over the non-functioning of the Labour Office in Pulwama.
In a statement to KNS, he said that the office has been without an Assistant Labour Commissioner for more than three months.
People are unable to get labour cards, financial assistance, or approvals for pending applications.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelCourt cases linked to labour matters are not moving forward, he said.
Channi urged the Labour Commissioner and the concerned Minister to restore the office without delay.
He said the disruption is causing hardship to workers and the general public. He called for immediate intervention to ensure that essential services resume.(KNS)
