Srinagar, Jan 22 (KNS): Resident of north Kashmir’s Uri area has appealed PDD authorities to repair their power receiving station; they are without electricity since 6-Jan.
According to the KNS correspondent Nadeem Khawaja the receiving got damaged on 6th of Jan and till date that has not been repaired and people are without power.
He said people are regularly protesting against this but nobody pay heed to them.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelNow they appealed to higher authorities to look in.
According to him 28 villages are in dark, villages like Noorkhah, Bijhama and other are facing lot of problems.
Meanwhile the Correspondent has talked with Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, who has assured him that till 26 January the station will be ready to use and people will get electricity. (KNS)
