Urges LG Sinha to intervene into the matter

Srinagar, Dec 02 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir People's Movement has said the non-availability of public transport after 5 pm on the roads of Srinagar and its adjacent areas have put the general public into a lot of inconveniences. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), JKPM spokesperson said as per the sources ARTO Srinagar has given instructions to transporters of Srinagar city not to run vehicles on the roads of Srinagar after 5pm.

JKPM said that the people are facing lot of problems due to suspension of the public transport. "Commuters coming from other districts to Srinagar late in the evening, businessmen, labours working at Srinagar and students studying in various coaching centers across Srinagar are also facing the problems due to suspension of transport services after 5pm. This move is creating various problems for the general public especially those not having their own vehicles," reads the statement. 

JKPM urged LG Sinha to intervene into the matter and take necessary action against RTO Srinagar. (KNS)
