Srinagar, Aug 03 (KNS): The people in several old city areas Wednesday defied the curfew and carried out a procession along with the dead body of Riyaz Ahmad who was killed by forces in last night.
The residents of Chattabal, Safa Kadal, Saki Dafar, and other adjacent areas defied the curfew and marched towards Idgah to offer funeral prayers and the burial of the youth killed in forces action on late Tuesday.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Thousands of people offered the funeral prayers of the youth who as per reports was killed by pellets, shot from point-blank.
Amid pro-freedom and anti-India slogans, thousands of people marched towards Idgah and offered funeral prayers of the slain youth, professionally an ATM guard.
“He was later buried in the martyr’s graveyard Idgah,” reports said. (KNS)
