Srinagar, 23 November: The Jammu and Kashmir former YNC Vice President kashmir  Ahsan Pardesi on Monday said the people are all out for PAGD on account of its representing the  genuine political aspirations of the People of J&k. Leading the election campaign in Sonwar constituency. While canvassing for PAGD candidates in the various hamlets of Block Khanmoh and Harwan. He said despite having all facilities the BJP and its ilk is not able to garner support in the ingoing DDC pools in the two blocks Ahsan Said “The candidates that are running for the forth coming DDC polls in Harwan and Khonmoh boast public support and are known for their social work and commitments for strengthening democracy. There cannot be any trade off between the genuine political aspirations of people and
development. PAGD on its parts caters to both , it reflects the real legitimate voice of people and also
has the enormous good will among public to ensure all round development of any locality unlike the
various candidates which were airdropped by BJP in Kashmir during previous ULB and Panchayat Polls.
Those candidates were not aware of the local topography and issues concerning the people as a result they failed to deliver on ground. Contrarily, the PAGD candidates running for DDC polls are publically
known and valued for their activism,” he said.
He further added that despite being denied all facilities, the PAGD candidates are receiving enormous
support and where ever they go people give them rousing welcome. “I have personally been canvassing
in Harwan, and Khonmoh, the entire journey so far has been elevating. The response of the people is
indeed very encouraging. People from all walks of life are lending support and taking part in our interactive conventions to us braving winter chill. People are sure that with Dr Farooq Abdullah in the vanguard of PAGD, the people of J&k will have their rights restored. Furthermore there is no denying to the fact that with genuine representative representing people in DDC, the development scenario at district level will also receive much impetus,” he added.(KNS)
