Jammu, Feb 15 (KNS): Student delegations of Jammu and Kashmir today meet People’s Democratic Party Youth President Waheed ur Rehman Parra at Jammu University. The delegation comprised of students both from professional and non-professional colleges of the state, led by Intizaj Hussain Shah and Dr Peer Shakir.
In the meeting, establishment and development of People’s Democratic Student Union for Jammu and Kashmir was discussed. Youth President Waheed Ur Rehman Parra extended full support to the students and said that inclusion of youth in decision making is priority of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He further added that "Young people have a proven capability to lead change, and are a vital and valuable investment for now and the future."
While concluding the meeting, Youth President said that the "State has lot of opportunities and such things demand revision of youth, coordinated efforts and unity to safeguard their own interests in the state Jammu and Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"
He further added that the inclusion of youth into policy and decision making is priority of the party.
Parra appreciated and congratulated the students for showing unity and said, “government is committed to revive all the activities in the state that became the hallmark of recent unrest and assured to provide talented youth an opportunity to refine and showcase their skills”.
He further added that massive infrastructure is being created across the State Jammu and Kashmir and Government is making all out efforts to organize more and more events in the state.
“Youth participation will help in channelizing the energy of the youth towards constructive purposes and help in their overall personality development,” he added. (KNS)
