Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS): PDP Chief Spokesperson lauding the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for her decision to bring stringent rape laws said that it was a welcome step that Mehbooba Mufti has committed to bring a new law where mandatory death penalty will be accorded to those who rape minors.

Mir said that the Chief Minister has been monitoring the case on day to day basis, she ensured chargesheet was filed however it was unfortunate to see the politics over the murder of an innocent child. (KNS)
