Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNS): The National Conference on Tuesday while castigating PDP’s approach termed the present deadlock over the government formation as a fixed match between the two alliance partners, saying the two parties have resolved to push JK into the world of uncertainties.
“We have been saying since day one that it is the fixed match between the PDP and the BJP. Both the parties are trying to strengthen their respective party cadre that has been eroded to the wide extent,” NC’s provincial president Nasir Aslam Wani told KNS.
He termed the statements of the PDP chief as ‘bizarre’ in which she is asking for the JK specific CBMs. “Has she sought any written reply from the GOI. Has she submitted her pleas in a written format before the union government? No. Because whatever is going on at present is a mere drama that will end soon when the BJP and PDP will form the government, ”Nasir said.
The senior NC leader and former chief minister Omar Abdullah’s trusted lieutenant, Nasir added further that PDP would never want to stay away from power and that it will barter whatever has been left to grab the chair.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“This is for sure that PDP will form the government again by joining hands with the BJP. The party gives dam to what people of the state aspire for. It is only power for which PDP has been hungry since the day of its inception,” Nasir said.
He maintained further that the party is trying to confuse the people of the state by issuing contradictory statements everyday after. “On one side they say Agenda of alliance is a sacred document for them- knowing little what the word sacred means for the Muslims and on the other hand, PDP wants JK specific CBMs for the state. In reality, people of the state are unaware to what exactly the PDP is demanding from the GOI,” said NC’s provincial president. (KNS)
