Srinagar, Oct 21 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti and the party General Secretary, Mohammad Sartaj Madni have paid rich tributes to the late Ghulam Rasool Gayoor on his death anniversary.
In a statement issued to KNS, the leaders recalled late Gayoor’s services to the society and the Kashmiri literature.
Gayoor, a noted political activist and poet, was killed on this day in very tragic circumstances few years back.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“His death caused a deep sense of outrage and loss among the literary community of the state,” the leaders said.
Senior party leaders, Nizamudin Bhat, Dr Haseeb Drabu, Zahoor Ahmad Mir Mohammad Khalil Bhand, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah and the party's youth president, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Parra also paid tributes to the late Gayoor. (KNS)
