Says 'party agenda was compromised'
Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): The Member of Legislative Council (MLC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Syed Asghar Ali on Wednesday resigned from the basic membership of the party.
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said that the promises done with him by Late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed were not fulfilled regarding his constituency.

"I feel the party has betrayed the people of Chenab valley, who had pinned high hopes in the leadership and saw it as a viable alternative,” he said.
He said the party was hijacked by the “parachute leaders and sycophants” after the demise of Mufti Sayeed.
Ali added that party's agenda was compromised. (KNS)
