Srinagar, Oct 20 (KNS): Police today said that unidentified militants on Friday hurled a grenade on the house of PDP MLA Tral Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, with him becoming the second ruling legislator whose house was attacked.
A senior police official told KNS that no injury or damage occured due to the grenade blast.
The offical said that the police security guards deployed at the MLA's house fired some shots into the air after the grenade was hurled into the premises of the house.
MLA Shah told KNS that the grenade was hurled into the premises of his house at Kousarbal locality in Tral town today afternoon.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The legislator said that his family was not present inside the house at the time of the attack as they are putting up in Srinagar.
This is the second grenade attack on the house of ruling PDP MLA in the last two days.
On Thursday, unidentified militants lobbed a grenade into the house of PDP MLA from Wachi, Aijaz Ahmad Mir.
The grenade exploded into the premises of the house without causing any injury or damage to anyone. (KNS)
