‘Srinagar worst hit by additional charge syndrome’

Jammu, Jan 27 (KNS): The sitting PDP MLA Mohammad Ashraf Mir here on Friday left the government red faced as he accused none else than the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh for creating in additional charge syndrome in the Housing and Urban Development Department in Kashmir particularly Srinagar city.
According to KNS correspondent covering the assembly proceedings, Mir asked the government to explain that how the development works in Srinagar can be executed when the charge of the heads of Municipal Corporation Srinagar and the Lakes and Water ways Development Authority have been given to officers who are burdened with the duties of emergent nature.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He referred to the government’s decision to keep additional charge of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority with Deputy Commissioner Srinagar and sought immediate decisions on posting of full fledged officers on the positions which are held by others in addition to the own duties.
