Srinagar, Sep 10 (KNS): On the directions of the Party President Mehbooba Mufti, PDP leaders paid respects and tribute to Choudhary Salam-ud-din, a trusted associate of late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, during the Nimaz-e-Janazah held at Trehgam-Kupwara.

Senior Party Leader Ghulam Nabi Lone led the delegation along with General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam which comprised of party stalwarts like Additional General Secretary Mohammad Yousuf, MLA Kupwara Fayaz Mir, Abdul Qayoom Bhat, Noor Mohammad Sheikh, District Presidents Afzal and Rafiq, and several other leaders.

Expressing profound grief, Mohammad Khurshid Alam said, “Today we have lost not just a party colleague but a pillar of loyalty and commitment, someone who always stood by Mufti Sahib with sincerity and humility. His dedication to public service and unwavering faithfulness will remain etched in our memories.”

Alam also prayed for the departed soul, adding, "May Allah grant the departed soul the highest station in Jannat and bestow courage upon the family to bear this irreparable loss."
