Ramban, Oct 16 (KNS): Launching the second phase of membership drive, District President National Conference Sajjad Shaheen on Friday said that PDP-BJP Government has put the governance in back burner and was engaged in raking up passions to divert peoples’ attention from the failure on all fronts.
“Mufti Mohammed Sayeed’s PDP is overtly and covertly implementing the RSS agenda, which has impacted the governance”, Shaheen said in a statement to KNS, the membership camps held at Ukhral for Pogrul Paristan and Khari-Mahu blocks.
He said the state of Jammu and Kashmir has been pushed to wall by political uncertainty and trust deficit, as a result of which the people suffering on all fronts. Shaheen urged the workers to strengthen National Conference at grass roots level by ensuring maximum membership and eliciting the support of people to progressive and forward looking policies of the party. “NC alone can steer the state out of the prevail morass to peace, progress and development”, he said hoping that the people especially youth will come forward in a big way and help in isolating forces inimical to peace and development.
