PDP holds workers convention in Srinagar

 

Srinagar, Mar 28 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday held a workers convention at party headquarter Central Kashmir's Srinagar.

The outreach programme was led by PDP Vice president Abdul Rahman Veeri, general secretary Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, Aasiya Naqash, ex minister, Additional general secretary Aga Syed Mohsin, Adv Yousuf Bhat ex mla Shopian, Anjum Fazli ex Mla, State secretaries, Abdul Hameed Kohsheen and Haji Gh Mohuddin Wachi, State  secretary youth Arif Liagroo and distrct president Srinagar, Haji Parvez Ahmed.

While addressing a workers gathering, Veeri lauded the efforts of party workers for participating in the convention. During his address he said that the PDP is true and only voice of people to fight for their rights and honour.

We will never let down our people, we will fight till our last breath for rights of our people, he added.

He also urged workers to accelerate the public outreach programs to bring more people in the party, he said.  

Speaking to the gathering G N Lone Hanjura stressed over party workers to ensure grassroot level reach out to the people of Srinagar district.

Hanjoora said that party has always participated in elections, whenever there is call for elections, party will take a call too to decide participation.

 He also praised the party workers for making efforts to strengthen the party; urges workers to organize more programs in future.  

District President Srinagar Haji Parvaiz also extended his warm gratitude to party leaderships and workers for, their presence in the convention.

Besides other leaders, Media Cordinator Kashmir Bashir Beigh, Youth Coordinator Youth Central kashmir, Shahnawaz Ah Mir, Dr Ali Mohammad, Abdul Qayoom Bhat, Mohd Sidiq, Ali Mohammad Baba, DDC members and prominent workers were present in the convention.(KNS)
