Srinagar, 28th January:(KNS)  The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of veteran political leader, freedom fighter and the last surviving member of constituent assembly shri Krisahan Dev Sethi ji.

 

Paying tributes to Sethi sahab,  Party President Mehbooba Mufti termed his sad demise as an irreparable loss to the state and its people. 

 

"I am deeply saddened to know of Sethi sahab’s demise. His demise is a huge loss to all of us and this void can not be filled. He treated me like a daughter & will always be an integral part of my childhood memories. Will miss his wisdom & guidance ," she said.

 

Party Vice President A R Veeri described late Sethi sahab as a veteran leader and statesman who was an institution in himself.

 

"Krishan Dev Sethi Sahib was a great leader, Writer, Thinker & freedom fighter . His contribution to the state and its people was exemplary and would be remembered forever," he said.

 

"Sethi sahab was a people's man who left no stone unturned to work for upliftment and welfare of people. All his life, he believed in and practiced the mantra of people first. His passing away is an irreparable loss," he added.(KNS)
