Bandipora, Dec 25:(KNS) People’s Democratic Party Friday held a workers convention in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district to felicitate newly elected DDC Candidates who emerged victorious during the recently held DDC election in Jammu and Kashmir.

The convention was addressed by senior PDP leader and former legislator Nizamuddin Bhat.

DDC candidates from Bandipora-B and Bonakoot blocks, Kounsar Shafeeq and Abdul Gani Wani respectively were felicitated during the convention.

During the convention newly elected Sarpanchs and Panchs were also felicitated who emerged victorious during the recently concluded panchayat by-polls.

Meanwhile, several workers from Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party also joined the PDP on the occasion.(KNS)
