Srinagar, Oct 27 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday expressed condolences with prominent gastroenterologist, Dr Showkat Zargar on the sad demise of his father and prayed for granting forbearance to the bereaved family.
While expressing sympathies to Dr Showkat Zargar and the family members, PDP leader, Mohd Amin said, "Deeply saddened to hear about the death of Dr. Showkat Zargar's father. We pray to Almighty to bless his deceased soul and grant him eternal peace," he said.
Terming the deceased as noble and pious, he said that his death has created a Vaccuum that cannot be filled.
"He was noble and a kind soul who will be remembered for his kind hearted approach and noble initiatives. May Almighty grant patience to the family to bear this irreparable loss," the statement added.
Amin further said that the death of deceased had saddened him and the party members. "Zargar Sahab's loss has created a void, which will not be easy to fill for many years."
Meanwhile various other leaders of the party expressed sympathies with the bereaved family. "We share their grief and pray for fortitude to them in these trying times. We pray to Almighty to bestow the highest echelons to Zargar Sahab in Jannat."(KNS)
