Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Reiterating the party`s commitment to strive for the socio-economic growth and development of the people of the state as envisioned by late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed, People`s Democratic Party (PDP) has resolved to expedite and augment the efforts for political stability and sustainable peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
During his extensive tour to Khiram, Vidhay and Nowshehra in Bijbihara Constituency the party senior leader and chief coordinator South Kashmir Mufti Sajjad Hussain said that PDP has a proven track record of creating an enabling environment for the promotion of businesses, commerce, tourism and creating avenues of meaningful and respectable employment opportunities for our educated youth in the State.
Mufti Sajjad said while the state of Jammu and Kashmir is faced with many challenges, the government headed by Mehbooba Mufti is working on series of reformative measures to empower the people of the state as was done by late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed.
Highlighting the local demands for immediate completion of lighting through tourism department at Khirma Shrine including drinking water facilities before coming Milad un Nabi , Mufti Sajjad said that the works under taken by Rural Development department like Vidhay and Sirhama bridge already sanctioned need to be executed on warfooting.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe also urged for immediate improvement of Nowshehra Sirhama Road. He also urged for judicious utilization of funds in the construction of Nowshehra Sports Stadium and immediate fencing of it.
He urged upon the party workers to reach out to people for a meaningful process which holds the promise for a liberal initiative, pragmatism and all possible help in the rebuilding of the agenda of development and dialogue. He made a fervent appeal to the younger generation in particular to join hands for a new beginning away from dismay and distrust.
He hoped that peace will soon return through various endeavors including the resolution of all issues and these dreams of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed will hopefully become possible. (KNS)
