Srinagar Feb 01 (KNS): J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir today said that the internal bickering and contradiction in the approach of PDP BJP led to the early Adjournment of the House (sine die), which is not only unfortunate but unconstitutional and Congress Party strongly condemns the early Adjournment of the house before five days. Mir was addressing a workers convention at Dooru Verinag today.
Lashing out at Coalition Govt for early Adjournment of the House, Mir said apart from sacrificing urges and aspirations of the people, PDP BJP Coalition due to their internal bickering forced the early Adjournment of the House inroder to avoid opposition in State Legislature, for the fact they are not able to face the opposition, but the Coalition Partners can no longer betray the people on sensitive issues. He also termed this move of Speaker LA as unfortunate and highly condemnable.
Addressing the Party Workers, G.A. Mir said that Coalition Govt of PDP BJP has crossed all limits even the State Legislature was not spared by them for the sake of remaining in power, he said.
Expressing concern over the problems confronting people in all the three regions, Mir said Congress party is committed to equitable development of all the three regions and it will continue to remain steadfast to serve the people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh equally.
Mir said we (Congress) will continue fight against discrimination against people and is committed to resolution of the issues concerning people of the State. The Coalition Govt of PDP BJP has added woes to people after securing votes from them, but at the same time, he (Mir) felt confident that people have realized that their vote has gone waste, as the promises made by both Coalition Partners (PDP BJP) with them have fallen flat, Mir said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Castigating PDP BJP Coalition for adopting non-serious approach about the wellbeing of the people, Mir said due to the contradiction in the approach of the PDP BJP Coalition, State is facing difficult situation, leaving people in isolation, in all the three regions, there is no sign of improvement on the ground, only officials Statement from the Govt are pouring in on daily basis, he said.
He lashed out at Coalition for failing to address the genuine concerns of the people, besides the mis-governance and mismanagement on their Govt has added miseries to people. I want to ask both PDP BJP Coalition, how many promises made by them during their election campaign were fulfilled, Mir questioned.
He said the performance of the Coalition Govt on ground is zero, for the fact, there was no improvement on the ground , unemployment has risen considerably, Govt Departments are not functioning in way they should, as a result, the day today needs of the people remain un-attended & unaddressed, even road connectivity in rural area was not ensure, post snowfall, there were many other issue of public interest, such as Electricity which also remained affected badly due to snow, which is an indicative of the of utter failure of the Govt on all fronts.
He told the Party cadres to remain connected with the people and get to know the problems they are facing, as it is our bounden duty to struggle and fight for resolution of the issue concerning people. (KNS)
