Banihal, Mar 09 (KNS): National Conference District President Ramban Sajjad Shaheen on Thursday expressed anguish over dilapidated condition of roads and utility services in Banihal Assembly Constituency, saying administrative inertia has increased the problems of people manifold.
Addressing National Conference workers of Pogal Parristan at Ukharhal, Shaheen assailed PDP-BJP dispensation for pushing development into back burner and ignoring maintenance of essential services that has created chaotic conditions in remote areas.
Shaheen said that instead of solving problems of the people, the insensitive coalition government is just playing politics by pursuing polarizing agenda to gain political mileage. “This is dangerous for unity and amity of the State”, he said and exhorted the people to guard against these machinations. He called for strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, saying inclusiveness has been core of the pluralistic state known for its unity in diversity.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
On this occasion several youth activists from Pogal joined National Conference who included Atta Mohd Naik, Mohd Younis Katoch, Abdul Sadiq, Abdul Gani Anial Singh, Javed ahmed Runyal, Sohan Singh, Mohd. Haneef, Kirpal Singh and others.
Welcoming the new entrants, Shaheen exuded confidence that with their joining National Conference will be further strengthened at the grass roots level.
Prominent among those present in the meeting included Sr District Vice President Mirwaiz Atta Mohd Katoch, Block Presidents Riyaz Ahmed Mir, Gulam Rasool Deng, block vice president Bahar Ahmed Naik, Youth block Secretary Shakib ur Rehman Runyal , Shamasdin Drabu, Mushtaq Ahmed Khan,Manan Ahmed Katoch and others also spoke in the meeting.
