Jammu, Mar 09 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) general secretary Ved Mahajan today announced District Committee for Rajouri and Zonal committees for Darhal, Rajouri and Kalakote assembly segments as a prelude to streamline further the grass root party network for reaching out to masses across the state. Party also nominated Ramesh Koul as Chairman of Migrant Cell.
The arrangement follows an extensive exercise and interaction with the party cadre as a consultative process in tune with the democratic traditions of the party.
Party president Mehbooba Mufti approved the list after recommendations made by General Secretary.
Approving the list Mehbooba Mufti reiterated her resolve to transform the society and state polity through honest, dedicated, committed and acceptable political class. She hoped that the nominees will come up to the expectations of the party cadre in particular and masses in general.
Ch Mir Hussain is nominated as district Vice President where as Zubar Hussain Shah, Haji Mohd Jamshed, Adv Haq Nawaz and Babu Hussain are nominated as Vice Presidents. Manzoor Hussain Shah, Ashok Sharma, Mohd Farooq Lone and Tahir Lone will be district Secretary, Organising Secretary, treasure and publicity Secretary respectively.
Prem Sharma, Mohd Maqsood Khan, Abdul Rashid, Dr Mohd Sharief, Mir Vaz, Mohd Sharief Baieg and Mirza Mir Vaz are nominated as Executive members whereas Munshi Alam Din, Iqbal Hussain Shah, Mohd Bashir Bhat and Rajesh Jamwal are Ex Officio members.
Zonal Committee Darhal Constituency

Zonal Committee Rajouri Constituency
Iqbal Hussain is nominated as Zonal President, Rajouri where as Mohd Ishtiaq Bhat, Ch Munir Hussain, and Mir Khan are nominated as Zonal Vice Presidents. Zahoor Bhatti, Nazir Mir and Mohd Mushtaq Bhat will be Zonal Secretary, Organising Secretary and Publicity Secretary respectively.
Aflaz Ahmed, Ch Nazir Hussain, Mohd Zaman Mirza, Haji Mohd Farooq, and Ch Abdul Gani are nominated as Zonal Executive members whereas Mohd Iqbal Raina, Javed Iqbal Mirza,Mohd Yousuf Bhat, Jala Din,Ch Mohd Shabir, Mir Mohd, Mohd Saleem Khan, Maqsood Ahmed Mughal and Ch Mohd Ramzan are Ex Officio members.
Zonal Committee Kalakote Constituency
Rajesh Jamwal is nominated as Zonal President, Kalakote where as Makhdoom Hussain Shah and Sajjad Parvez are nominated as Zonal Vice Presidents. Master Shan Mohd Mirza and Yogesh Sharma will be Zonal Secretary and Publicity Secretary respectively.
Sanjeev Kumar, Sajan Singh, Tariq Hussain Shah and Sg Labhu Ram are nominated as Zonal Executive members whereas Mohd Maqbool, Ramesh Chander, Haji Mohd Ishaq, Haji Munir Hussain, Manzoor Hussain, and Sham Lalare Ex Officio members. (KNS)
