PDP accused administration of ignoring people's sufferings

Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS):  People's Democratic Party today accused the administration of failing to clear the the roads even after two week of heavy snowfall in Kashmir.

While speaking during a presser, PDP General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Hanjura said, " administration has totally failed to clear roads even after 14 days of snowfall. still many villages in all districts of Kashmir are disconnected."


He added that patient care was hit due to closure of roads, "Everyone knows pregnant women were lifted on Cot. Patients are not able to visit doctors due to closure of roads. Condition of electricity is very pathetic. Even in Srinagar some localities still have neither water nor electricity."
He accused LG Adminstration of ignoring the sufferings of the people.


"Ration has been curtailed from 5 kg to 2.5 kg and somewhere that is also not given. people are  being forced to buy it in open market.Prices of essentials has skyrocketed. Officers, advisors are in Jammu and no one cares about the miserable condition of people."


He asked the District administration to go on field visits and check the miserable condition of the people.


"We want to remind LG  to direct district administration to address grivances of people. In district BudgamKanidajan, pakeepora, Marwan nowgam are s disconnected. Same is the status of many areas of other districts," (KNS).
