Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Front has condemned the custodial death of Rizwan Asad Pandith of Awantipora, Pulwama and sought justice into the case.
In a statement to KNS, PDF general secretary Mir Abdul Qayoom said that custodial death of Rizwan is most unfortunate and it adds to the tragedies of Kashmir.
"Such incidents are tragic and avoidable if law enforcing agencies work under laws. These incidents further add to the alienation of people from democratic set up," he said, adding that justice should be seen delivered in the case for a reposing faith of people on law.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“People in Kashmir have seen justice system being eroded of credibility in the past. The government, in order to restore faith of people on law and justice, should carry out a fair probe and deliver justice to the bereaved family,” he said, while expressing sympathy with the family of the slain youth.
