Srinagar, Feb12, (KNS): In a heart wrenching accident a PDD employee lost his right arm and is battling for life in SMHS hospital. The employee Nissar Ahmad Ganai ,was working on an LT line in Chursoo Kaigam when he lift his arm it touched a low lying 33000 KV line and he got badly charred.
Muhammad Hussain, brother of the injured Nisar, told that even after losing his right arm Nisar is battling for life and doctors are putting the cost of his treatment at 20 lakh rupees. Hussain said all the limbs and the abdomen are ruptured.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
According to Hussain when Nissar was working on the LT line his hand accidently touched the 33Kv line. “My brother right now is awefull state even the medical staff is hesitant in looking at him” Hussain said.
Hussain said it is highly deplorable that no higher officer from the department came to visit him.
Nisar have an ailing wife and three little children to look after and this accident has left the family in total disarray. (KNS)
