Jammu, Sep 21 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Tuesday expressed shock and grief over the sad demise of Lal Muni Sharma, former President District Congress Committee Jammu Urban, who passed away today morning after a prolonged illness.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir (former Minister) expressed grief over the sad demise of Lal Muni Sharma.
In a condolence message Mir has conveyed his heartfelt condolences to family members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul in heaven.
A large number of people from all walks of life including senior congress leaders attended the funeral of Lal Muni Sharma at Jogi Gate Cremation Ground today afternoon.

They included Sham Lal Sharma, Raman Bhalla, Mula Ram, Ravinder Sharma, Kanta Bhan, Rajnish Sharma, Yogesh Sawhney, Manjeet Singh, Th. Manmohan Singh, Shah Mohd. Choudhary, Vikram Malhotra, Namrata Sharma, Th. Shivdev Singh, Neeraj Gupta, Ashwani Puri, Sanjeev Sharma, Surinder Gupta and others.
Meanwhile, District Congress Committee Jammu Urban in a condolence meeting held at PCC HQ under the chairmanship of Anil Chopra, mourned the sad demise of Lal Muni Sharma and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
