Srinagar, April 1 (KNS): Youth President JKPC and former Dyp Mayor SMC Srinagar Sheikh Mohammed Imran has urged the LG administration to ensure a hassle-free supply of essentials and appropriate sanitation including supply of electricity and water during the holy month of Ramadhan.

 

In a statement issued here today, Sheikh Imran urged to synergize the efforts for smooth conduct of Ramadhan prayers with appropriate power supply in the valley in particular and ensure that street lights in the municipal areas are made fully functional and new ones are installed where there are non-functional for facilitation of general public. He also asked to ensure that the sanitation and cleanliness drives are undertaken on priority during this month. 

 

On this occasion, Youth General Secretary Mudasir Karim also urged for provision of an adequate supply of essentials and proper market check on rates and quality of the food items during the holy month so that people of all walks of life may not face any inconvenience during Ramadhan.

 

Both the leaders also prayed for the well-being of the  UT and the country and hoped that people will pray especially for peace in the region as well.(KNS)
