Srinagar, Dec 05 (KNS): J&K Peoples Conference (PC) faction led by Bilal Gani Lone today held a crucial party meeting here at Sanat Nagar. The meeting took place under the chairmanship of Bilal Gani Lone, where threadbare discussion was held on the prevailing situation in Kashmir and sub-continent.
The members during the meeting also discussed that the party needed to be strengthened at the gross root level. During the meeting, an organising committee was constituted under Ghulam Nabi Najar to further strengthen the party on the ground.
According to KNS, it was also observed during the meeting that the situation in the region is sensitive and serious. “The prevailing situation in Kashmir has once again made it clear that the people of J&K have been showing discipline and perseverance in continuing with their freedom struggle.”
The party workers during the meeting vowed that PC will pursue the mission of its slain leader and patron Abdul Gani Lone and is committed to his vision of “Kashmir first and Kashmiri first”, which forms a base to the resolution of Kashmir issue.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
It was also impressed during the meeting that all the youth who have been arrested after July 9 should be released. The party also condemned the brute use of force on protesters and use of pellets that blinded dozens of persons and termed it undemocratic and unjustified.
The party also showed concern over the escalation at borders that has affected the lifestyle of the people living in border areas and impressed upon both India and Pakistan to take immediate measures to halt cross-border firing for the larger benefit of the people.
Later, the party members and leaders during the meeting reposed trust on the leadership of Bilal Gani Lone to carry forward the mission. (KNS)
