Srinagar, Mar 27 (KNS): J&K People’s Conference (PC) on Friday condemned the killing of 25 year in South Kashmir by unidentified gunmen and termed it “reprehensible act of terror”. It also denounced disturbing videos in which cops use muscle power while dealing with people and urged authorities to investigate the matter.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), PC said, “We strongly condemn the killing of 25 year old Mehraj ud din. Our hearts go out to his family, who must be going through unimaginable pain and loss.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelSuch reprehensible acts of terror only add to our sense of collective loss. May he rest in peace”.
It also said that the disturbing videos of police high handedness in several parts of J&K which are doing rounds on social media are equally condemnable. However it maintained that the swift action against the involved policeman is a “welcome step”.
Party demanded that all videos must be investigated and appropriate action must be taken against erring policemen. (KNS)
