Srinagar, Sep 25 (KNS): Former legislator and PC senior leader Mohammad Khurshid Alam felicitated Ms. Safina Baig on being appointed the President of JKPC's Women's Wing. 

Alam said that Ms. Baig will play a critical role in ensuring active participation of women in scripting a new chapter in politics where women are given the space and responsibility to shape a better future for the generations to come. He said that the Peoples Conference believes in equal representation of women in politics to ensure their voices are being heard and their issues are at the forefront of legislative agendas. 

Alam expressed confidence that Ms. Baig will work tirelessly and with utmost dedication in inspiring the women, especially the youth to take the mantle of responsibility is shaping a better future for not just themselves but the entire people of J&K. (KNS)
