Jammu, Jan 28 (KNS): Independent MLA and former minister Pawan Gupta was silenced by PDP MLA Javid Mustafa Mir over the remarks of Engineer Rashid on plebiscite demand.
According to KNS Correspondent covering the assembly proceedings, as MLA Pawan Gupta stood up and sought expunging of the plebiscite remark of Engineer Rashid, the PDP MLA Javid Mustafa Mir stood up from his seat and told the speaker that he should not expunge the plebiscite remark of Engineer Rashid.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Javid Mustafa Mir told speaker that plebiscite has been promised by First Prime Minister of India Jawahar Lal Nehru and as such there is nothing unconstitutional if any member puts demand on plebiscite in the house.
Javid Mustafa Mir was supported by other PDP members after which Pawan Gupta stopped arguing over the issue. (KNS)
