Pattan, Dec 20 (KNS): The residents of Iqbal colony in Pattan in Baramulla had a narrow escape late last evening when a new laid high tension line was damaged due to short circuit.
Local’s residents today blocked the roads and protested against the department at Iqbal Abad Pattan. They demanded action against the erring officials and compensation against the electronic, electrical damaged during this short circuit.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The residents said the short circuit damaged every home appliance, while some claimed that they felt electric shock in their homes.
Residents said that this HT line was recently laid where as the other HT lines of 25 years old are working without any fault.
The residents claim that the wrong and cheap equipments were laid which didn't bear the load and were damaged. (KNS)
