Organising Cricket events will boost young talent in JK: Mudasir Karim

Srinagar, Nov 3 (KNS) :Stressing upon the extensive participation in sports activities particularly in Cricket, Senior PC Leader and General Secretary All JK Shia Association Mr Abid Hussain Ansari has said that these events not only boost the physical and mental abilities of young ones but also play a vital role in bridging the relations between communities in the society as well.


Abid Ansari was addressing an event organised for the conduct of the final match at Bemina today. The tournament was held in the memory of late Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari (RA). In which various teams participated and the final match was played between SCC Durbal and JCC  Zadibal, which was won by SCC Durbal by 56 runs with Manzoor Pandav declared as Man of the Match.

Ansari said that it is time to elevate the importance of youth sports and the positive impact it has on the emotional and physical well-being of youth at present. It’s also a good time to address how active youth sport participation plays a crucial role in helping young people avoid substance use like drugs etc, he added.

On this occasion, JKPC Youth General Secretary Organization Mudasir Karim said that the benefits of sports are numerous and can impact lives in profound ways and participation in such activities promotes health and well-being, builds confidence, and can help maintain mental health.

Secretary Youth JKPC Budgam,  Amjad Bhat VP YJKPC Zadibal, Aqib Bhat SM Incharge JKPC Zadibal, and Rahi Shamshad Social Activist were also present on this occasion.(KNS)
