Part of Oral Health awareness week, Dental Health program reaches Harwan

Srinagar March 24:(KNS) In a continuous reach out to create oral health awareness, Government Dental College Srinagar on Thursday held an awareness cum treatment camp at in Fakir Gujri of Harwan Srinagar. 

 
According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), that on March 24th in the ongoing program of oral health awareness week organised by government Dental college Srinagar an awareness cum treatment camp for dental disease was conducted in area of fakir gujri area in Dara harwan area Srinagar. The camp was conducted by department of public health Dentistry government Dental College Srinagar in coordination with the public health and social medicine department of Government medical College Srinagar and . 
 
Doctors from various specialities of government Dental College Srinagar had come for screening and treatment of oral and dental disease in the general masses of the area. school children we are also examined and treatment was given to them free of cost in the camp. the camp was headed by Dr Aasim Farooq Shah who is assistant professor in the department of public health dentistry government Dental College Srinagar. Many such camps for awareness of oral and dental diseases were conducted in this week by this team in various remote areas like sallar, tangmarg areas.(KNS)
