Sopore, Nov 01 (KNS): As exam session commences in Kashmir division, private schools have asked the parents to clear their dues including annual charges and other charges as well.

Reports reaching Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that many reputed schools in the Valley have restricted students to appear in the exams as they have pending dues including tuition fees and annual charges.

Many parents told KNS that SRM Welkin, a private school in Sopore has also asked the parents of their student to clear all the dues till July 2021 and have been asked to deposit annual charges as well.

They allaged that the school authorities have asked them that if any one failed to deposit the same their wards will not be given assignments and question papers and will also be restricted from appearing in exam.

Meanwhile, when contacted chief education officer Baramulla assured that the matter will be looked into. (KNS)
