Srinagar Nov 9 (KNS): Students of Class 10 who appeared for exams in Baramulla districtTuesday accused the Government Girls Higher Secondary School management for forcing them to “shiver” in cold during exams.
Parents of students studying in a private school in Baramulla told KNS that their children who had to write their class 10 exams in English subject at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School were mistreated by the management.
“The management of the school did not allow our children to wear jackets and warm clothes during the exams. They shivered in cold, and struggled to write their exams,” Zahid Shah, one of the parent told KNS.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Shah said that the students were frisked by the teachers as if they were threat to the school.
Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School Muneera Akhtar dismissed the allegations of the parents.
“Some students were without uniforms, so in order to verify their identity we checked their admit cards. But some parents wanted to enter into the school, which we did not allow. They behaved very rudely with me and other teachers. And now these parents are accusing us of all such things,” she told KNS.
