Pakistan owes an apology to the world-wide Sikhs : Chugh

Chandigarh, Nov 21 (KNS): BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today expressed his serious concern at the desecration of the religious places of the minorities in Pakistan.

Demanding an in-depth inquiry into the reported incident of violation of "maryada"at the Kartarpur Sahib gurudwara in Pakistan, Chugh lambasted the Pakistan Government for its dismal failure to protect the interest of the minorities in the country.

He said that the Pakistan government owes an apology to the entire Sikh community for allowing an act of sacrilege at the Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara.

The matter assumes more significance as it has happened close to the days of Guru Nanak Dev ji's Gurpurab, where the Guru Nanak Dev ji spent his last days of life.
 
Chugh strongly condemned Pakistan over the Gurdwara sacrilege incident and said that the human and religious rights of minorities are not protected in Pakistan. Demanding a thorough investigation into the matter, he said that all the religious places of minorities in Pakistan, whether they are Sikhs, Be it Hindu or Buddhist, should be protected by the Government of Pakistan.(KNS)
