Hailing Pakistan for not succumbing to “unjustified Indian pressure”, Dukhtaran-e-Millat president Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi has said that Pakistan should continue the policy of talking on equal levels with India. She condemned the arrest of Shabir Ahmad Shah and said that such “childish acts” cannot stop the real representatives of Jammu Kashmir talking and consulting Pakistan leadership. She said that Pakistan should call Indian Ambassador to the foreign office and lodge a protest over arresting her invited guests in India.
In a statement issued to KNS, Aasiyeh said that by taking a strong decision and not succumbing to the pressure, Pakistan has cleared the misconception of India that the former was not in its awe and ready to take dictation. She said that India is actually not ready to shun its arrogance and settle the dispute and its readiness to sit on the table is just cosmetic. “India is very arrogant and has never been ready to accept the realities, on one side she is showing readiness for talks and on the other hand is running away on flimsy grounds” she said. Dukhtaran e Millat president further said that India wants to deceive the world community by entering the talks with Pakistan but is actually not ready to accept the realities and decide the things seriously.
She said that how can India justify its objection to the Pakistan’s invitation to the Kashmiri leadership. “Fact of the matter is that Kashmir is the core issue between India and Pakistan and both the countries cannot make any headway leaving the core issue un addressed but India wants to engage Pakistan while putting the core issue on back burner” she said and added that Pakistan has rightly ignored India’s unwanted advisory by inviting the representatives of Jammu Kashmir. “This is how Pakistan’s Kashmir policy should look like let India be made to believe that Pakistan cannot be dictated”.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Condemning the arrest of Shabir Ahmad Shah, while he was on his way to Pakistan Embassy in Delhi to meet Sartaj Azizi there, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that the so called biggest democracy has made fun of itself before the whole world.
Terming the arrests and not allowing the resistance leadership to meet Mr. Sartaj Aziz at Delhi as a shameful and act against the diplomatic etiquettes she said that Pakistan should call India’s Ambassador and formally lodge a protest against the arrests of its invited guests. She said that Pakistan’s invitation to the representatives of Kashmir is just and as per the UN resolutions as well as the highest world body stands witness to the promise that Kashmiri’s are the primary party to the dispute and need to be consulted for their political future. “It shows how just Pakistan is, the world community should appreciate the invitation and inclusion of Kashmiri representatives in the settlement of the dispute”.
Regretting her in ability of attending the meeting with Sartaj Aziz Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi said that the Ambassador had personally insisted her to be present specially to have consultations with the visiting dignitary but she couldn’t do so despite a great desire because of her bad health. It is important to mention that Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi has a serious problem with both her knees and is undergoing treatment and under an advise against the travel. She however said that no power on earth can stop Kashmiri’s meeting with Pakistani leadership. “Neither India can stop us talking with Pakistan leadership nor do we need her permission for that. A holy movement is going on to liberate Kashmir and the movement will achieve the goal of merging Jammu Kashmir with Pakistan, India cannot stop us” the statement read. (KNS)
