PAGD won't give a single to BJP in DDC elections: Muzaffar Shah

Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Senior Vice president Awami National conference (ANC) and a PAGD signatory Muzzafar Shah on Friday said the regional political parties have united over DDC elections, asserting PAGD will not leave a single seat for BJP in the ground.
He said all signatories of PAGD are committed to fulfill the interests of Jammu and Kashmir and its people and are united against BJP who forcibly scrapped the special status of J&K under Articles 370 and 35(A) last year.
Shah asserted that leaders of PAGD are not going to succumb before threats, intimidations, lodging FIRs and other bullying tactics by BJP Government. “PAGD is firm on its stand and it will carry forward its agenda to its end”, Shah said.
He said the PAGD is a united force in J&K to frustrate the ploys of BJP and its allies and the group will ensure no seat will be left for communal and divisive forces.
Shah appealed people of Jammu and Kashmir to come out and vote PAGD for recovery of rights snatched by BJP on August 5, 2019 with coercive methods.
“It is high time for people to come out and give a loud slap to BJP in DDC elections”, Shah added. (KNS)
