Minister of State for PHE, Forest and Animal Husbandry, Mr. Abdul Majeed Padder Monday said that coalition Government shall deliver on the welfare and development front as promised.
The Minister, who was addressing a public gathering at Gulzar Abad, Badijehalan, here said the government is taking major steps to extend basic amenities and several schemes and programmes are being run in the state for the purpose.
Mr. Padder also announced Rs 10 lakh from his CDF for construction of a Public Park at Gulzarabad Badijehalan and asked SDM D H Pora to prepare a project report for the park at the earliest.
During his visit, the Minister accompanied by the officers of district administration Kulgam and other departments visited Yarikhah, Nagam, B.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelK Marg, Chimber, Badijehalan, Gulzarabad and other areas of Noorabad Constituency and took stock of the ongoing developmental works. He urged the district administration to expedite the construction work on various projects at the earliest so that amenities are extended to the people at the earliest.
Meanwhile, the Minister also directed the concerned authorities to provide timber to the flood affected people.
At Yarikha the Minister asked PHE department to take appropriate measures for restoration of water supply on fast track basis.
