Reiterating government’s commitment to redress public grievances and issues on priority, Minister of State for PHE, Irrigation, Forests and Animal Husbandry, Mr. Abdul Majeed Padder has said that efforts are on and focused attention will be given for socio-economic uplift of people by the present dispensation led by Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed so that goal of overall development and prosperity of all three regions of State is achieved.
The Minister said this while addressing a public gathering in Gudder area of Noorabad constituency here today
The Minister accompanied by officers of district administration Kulgam and other departments visited Phallo, Chattripora, Gudder, Laisoo and other areas and took stock of pace and progress of various ongoing developmental projects.

While inspecting Kut Lade Canal, the Minister directed the concerned authorities for immediate construction of protection bund on both sides of the canal so that water facility is provided to various villages including Chamgund, Adigotan, Chattripora and Pahloo. He also gave directions for construction of road at Chattripora, Pahloo and Liasoo so that these areas are connected with each other and public particularly students, patients are benefitted.
The Minister also visited Veterinary centre at Gudder which was not functional for last six years and instructed for its immediate revival.
Meanwhile, the Minister provided Rs 25000/= to one critical patient of Khull Ahamadabad for his medical treatment.
