Srinagar, Mar 27 (KNS): Over 97, 000 candidates participated in OMR based written test for the post of sub-inspector in Jammu and Kashmir police, which was conducted in a single sitting on Sunday across the UT.
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that around 1,13,861 candidates had applied for the post of which 97,793 candidates participated in the examination, which is over 85 percent.
 
He said that the OMR based written test was conducted in a single sitting from 12 noon to 2 pm today across the Union Territory.
 
Notably, the exam was conducted by Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board. 
 
Meanwhile, JKSSB on it official Twitter handle informed that the exam for JKP sub-inspector (SI) post was conducted successfully today. 
 
“JKP Sub-Inspector(SI) exam conducted successfully. 97,793 out of 1,13,861 (85.95%) candidates participated. Chairman JKSSB compliments respective District Administrations, J&K Police and other related roll partners and departments for smooth, hassle free & successful conduct of OMR Exam,” JKSSB Tweeted.
