Srinagar, Mar 11 (KNS): Out of the total rupees 105 crores worth loans doled out by J&K Bank to the beleaguered Vijay Mallya-led Kingfisher group, the Bank is yet to retrieve only Rs 3.5 crores from the firm, said an official of the bank.
An official while talking to KNS over phone said that they recovered more than 97 crores from the firm so far. However, only 3.5 crore rupees are still outstanding.
“Out of the total default of over Rs 9000 crore loan from the different banks, JK Bank is the only which have least amount of rupees 3.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel5 crores with the firm and have recovered the amount very efficiently,” official said.
He said that almost 105 crores worth loans were given to the firm from the year 2006. “Firm adjusted their account from time to time. We have recovered almost 97.26 crore rupees so far from the firm while only rupees 3.5 crores are outstanding,” he said. (KNS)
