Our Youth Must Be Catalysts for Change: LG Sinha

Jammu, Sep 30 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday lauded the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, urging them to be catalysts for change and play a leading role in shaping India’s future.

Speaking at the valedictory function of ‘Viksit Bharat Ke Rang-Kala Ke Sang’ organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) and Divisional Administration Jammu, the LG said the responsibility of building a developed India lies with the younger generation.

“Our youth are key to shaping a prosperous future, preserving cultural values, and driving innovation. They carry the responsibility of contributing to growth and progress to propel the nation forward,” Sinha said.

Highlighting the importance of Sewa Parv, the LG said the initiative is preparing young people to face future challenges with a positive mindset and will nurture them as future leaders, inventors, and builders.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The LG also called upon the youth to remain vigilant against divisive forces and unite in safeguarding the nation’s interests.

During the function, he felicitated students who excelled in the programme and called for making the initiative a regular feature.

The event was attended by MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai, Divisional Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, IGP Jammu Bhim Sen Tuti, DC Jammu Dr. Rakesh Minhas, IGNCA Regional Director Shruti Awasthi, senior officials, education heads, and a large number of students.(KNS
