Jammu, Jan 24 (KNS): Deputy Speaker Assembly Nazir Gurezi here on Tuesday took strong notice of the absence of the majority of members on treasury benches and adjourned the house for ten minutes with the intent of giving an opportunity to members of the treasury benches to return to the house.
According to KNS correspondent covering the assembly proceedings, the Deputy Speaker had to adjourn the house when the opposition National Conference members drew his attention towards the absence of the majority of members on treasury benches.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
National Conference members staged a walkout and Deputy Speaker while agreeing with the opposition members said that treasury benches are not serious in participating in the house proceedings and adjourn the house for ten minutes.
After the adjournment the members of the treasury benches including Senior Ministers returned to the house. (KNS)
