Srinagar, Nov 17 (KNS): One more militant has been in the ongoing encounter in Pombay area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, taking the toll number of killed militants to 5 in the twi gunfights in the district, police said here on Wednesday.

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that one more militant has been killed in Pombay, taking the toll to three.

They said that the identification of the slain militants was being ascertained, while search operation was going in the area.

Earlier, police said that two militants including a commander of TRF outfit were killed in an encounter that broker out in Gopalpora area of Kulgam an hour after gunfight broke out in Pombay village in the same district.

The officials said that a total of five militants have been killed in the twin gunfights in Kulgam district. (KNS)
